New condo/​hotel experience in Ottawa

Choo Communities, an Ottawa-based community developer, introduces a new type of hotel/condo hybrid to the city’s hotel scene.

Called reStays, the boutique hotel has 111 suites, including fully furnished studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, plus a series of signature collection suites.

Each suite includes spacious living areas, full kitchens, and in-suite laundry. The building has keyless technology, a private cinema room, SkyLounge, a fitness center, meeting room, and a sauna.

"Airbnb has made waves within the travel industry by offering unique homes and immersive experiences. reStays is developing this concept further by creating ultimate luxury experiences with 24/7 concierge service," says David Choo, CEO of Choo Communities.

Located on 101 Queen Street and extending onto Sparks Street, the hotel is only steps away from iconic Ottawa sites including the Parliament Buildings, the National Arts Centre, Rideau Canal and the Shaw Convention Centre.

Aimed at both short-term and long-term stays, reStays gives guests access to the reStayers Club, which includes perks and storage facilities for guests’ belongings, making travelling light and accessible. Guests can leave items ranging from toiletries to fine wines and whiskeys.
