Kamloops hotelier claims inaugural Pioneer Award
A Kamloops hotelier is the recipient of a new award that honours innovation in tourism.
Best Western Plus Kamloops GM Tim Rodgers is also the first in the city to obtain a 4 Green Key Status rating—a program recognized by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.
The recipient of the inaugural Thompson-Okanagan Tourism Association Pioneer Award (2021) is Best Western Plus Kamloops general manager Tim Rodgers, who is also the first in the city to obtain a 4 Green Key Status rating—a program recognized by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.
The Thompson-Okanagan Tourism Association created the Pioneer Award to honour fresh ideas and solutions to tourism development, as reported by Kamloops This Week.
