We are guided by the need to bring Catholic Teachers together to establish our Catholic identity, in providing development, quality education and leadership services to the church towards building a self-reliant progressive community.

ACT is recognized by the Ghana Catholic Bishop’s Conference (GCBC) to whom it relates through the Episcopal Chairman of Education.

Our Leadership

The association has executive council at various levels from National to parishes/communities and is tasked to be the governing body.

Our Affiliations

Supporting member(s) or sponsor(s) shall be individuals or institutions recognized by the Executive Committee which contribute(s) spiritually, financially and materially towards the promotion of ACT activities.

Corporate Profile

ACT-NOW, as the slogan, the association is committed to the teaching profession and the teaching ministry of Christ and His Church. ACT is recognized by the Ghana Catholic Bishop’s Conference (GCBC) to whom it relates through the Episcopal Chairman of Education.

Membership

The membership of the Association of Catholic Teachers – Ghana, shall be Catholic educationists, former members of ACT (who are no more in the education sector) and other Catholics involved in the education of young people such as Children Liturgy Teachers.
